An idea years in the making.
The seeds for SeedSwell were planted in 2019, when LaTanya Flix began thinking about how to better connect Houston’s people, resources, and community work.
Having served as a nonprofit executive director, donor engagement director, advisor to high-net-worth givers, coach to national organizations, and trusted partner to local businesses advancing inclusion, LaTanya had seen the work from many sides.
Across each of those roles, one truth became clear: the most important work doesn’t happen inside a single organization or sector. It happens between us.
